The Position
You will be a key member of the Research & Development Business Unit, and will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments on our insect production system.
We are looking for a self-motivated person with an interdisciplinary background in biological sciences and excellent communication skills.

Note: this is not a laboratory position – much of the research work is conducted on our factory floor. Candidates must be willing to ‘get their hands dirty’ to collect data from the production system.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
● Designing, executing and reporting on rigorous scientific experiments on a range of topics that include insect breeding and insect product development
● Supporting your fellow scientists with data collection where needed
● Coordinating with colleagues in other departments (E.g Engineering) to conduct special projects
● Conducting occasional Desk Research projects on scientific topics of interest
● Ensure that all research projects undertaken maintain a rigorous scientific standard, are delivered on time, and adhere to department quality standards.
