Job Descriptions:

• Secure bio-based and biotechnology investment projects, foreign and domestic companies by understanding company’s business intentions / expansion plans / strategic / identify specific opportunity for Malaysia and suggest appropriate business model based on identified opportunity, furthermore suggest suitable partnership (strategic or business).
• Facilitate the necessary applications to start the business.
• Introduce incentives, funding, and facilitation programme options and assist in discussions.
• Support program management and track action plans implemented by other agencies to achieve overall goals.
• Track the progress of investment projects (foreign and domestic) by: engaging with project owners / companies to ensure successful implementation and nurturing of both BioNexus and non-BioNexus companies; monitoring the progress of approved investments from previous years and addressing any gaps.
• Assist Senior Vice President (SVP) and Vice President (VP) in special tasks to enhance the agricultural biotechnology and bio-based ecosystem:

1. Track and update the pipeline and current projects;
2. Provide input to internal and external stakeholders including the various ministries and state governments, as needed;
3. Analyse and evaluate industry and market trends in the agricultural and bio-based sectors;
4. Participate in special projects, both within and across divisions; and
5. Monitor division programmes / projects against KPIs and collaborate with other divisions / agencies to achieve corporate KPIs.

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology, Life Science, Agrotechnology, or related disciplines.
• Possess at least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in a related field. (Fresh graduates with high level of enthusiasm are welcome to apply)
• Excellent command of Bahasa Melayu and English, both verbal and written (candidates will be tested).
• Strong research, analytical, and project management skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of enthusiasm and creativity.
• Willing to be based in Putrajaya and travel as needed or required.
