Job Scope:
Support day-to-day sales operations through administrative handling, customer engagement, and product coordination. Act as the interface between digital marketing efforts, customer inquiries, and fulfillment tracking. Assist in cold chain scheduling, documentation, and CRM updates.
Based in: Simpang Ampat, Pulau Pinang
Role Responsibilities:
The Technical Sales Executive shall ensure consistent and effective communication among all Sales C Marketing team members to uphold coordination and performance standards.
A. Client Relations and Technical Sales
- Engage and generate sales to Direct-to-Consumer Market Segment, Online Marketplaces C B2C Platforms, and other similar clients/customers that fall under B2C Market Segment with product recommendations and harvest availability.
- Provide technical advice on fish handling, species selection, and product shelf life.
- Conduct farm tours or virtual walkthroughs for high-value clients.
B. Sales Administration and Order Handling
- Input and track sales orders in the system (e.g., Google Sheets, CRM tools).
- Generate invoices, delivery orders, and coordinate with logistics (e.g., Ninja) for delivery scheduling.
- Maintain customer records and update databases with sales history, preferences, and feedback.
C. Customer Support & Follow-Up
- Respond to online inquiries via WhatsApp, email, Shopee, or other platforms.
- Provide updates on order status, fish availability, and delivery arrangements.
- Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
D. Support for Digital and Social Media Sales
- Assist in preparing product descriptions, promo postings, and stock updates.
- Moderate comments and chat replies during social media live sales (FB & TikTok).
- Track performance of digital campaigns and coordinate with the marketing manager.
E. Documentation & Coordination
- Assist in maintaining product labels, certificates (e.g. MyGAP for traceability), and customer-facing documents.
- Coordinate with Senior TSE on harvest forecast sheets and customer-ready fish availability.
- Ensure cold chain SOPs are documented for each order batch.
F. Team Support
- Assist Senior and Manager-level team members prepare for client visits, presentations, and sampling activities.
- Participate in training, farm visits, or customer demos as needed.
