This position is based in Kuala Lumpur, and will be paid a basic salary and a commission on sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Development & Strategy
- Support the development and enhancement of genetic testing products and related services.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify product improvement opportunities.
2. Business Development & Sales
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
- Develop and execute sales action plans to engage new clients and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Present and explain product features, benefits, and value propositions to healthcare professionals, corporate clients, and partners.
- Achieve company sales targets, KPIs, and milestones.
- Establish and improve key sales processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
3. Client Education & Support
- Address client inquiries regarding product applications, scientific background, and service benefits.
- Provide product training and educational support to partners and internal teams.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.
4. Marketing & Brand Development
- Develop, implement, and manage marketing and PR strategies.
- Support campaigns, product launches, webinars, and corporate engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate on content creation including presentations, brochures, and digital materials.
5. Leadership & Growth
- Take initiative in expanding responsibilities and contributing to company growth.
- Adapt to a fast-paced, evolving biotech environment.
- Demonstrate readiness to take on increased responsibilities and actively contribute to product development initiatives.
Job Requirements
Education
- Degree or Master in any discipline.
- Background in Biotechnology, Biomedicine, Biology, Bioscience, Life Sciences, Pharmacy,
- Nutrition is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and persuasive presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
- Independent, highly motivated, and results-driven.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
Language & Technical Skills
- Proficient in English and Malay (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
