Job Summary:
The Marketing Executive is responsible for supporting the Sales & Marketing department in administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth business operations. This role involves handling documentation, coordinating with customers, processing orders, managing market data, and assisting in sales-related activities to improve overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation and Customer Communication
- Organise, archive, and track department-related documents.
- Respond to customer emails and inquiries within an effective timeframe.
Order and Shipment Processing
- Handle and organise shipment and order documentation.
- Ensure order accuracy and timely processing.
Customer Database Management
- Maintain and update customer contact information.
- Ensure customer records are accurately recorded and accessible.
Administrative Support
- Assist sales personnel with internal administrative tasks.
- Support the Sales Manager with additional assignments as required.
Sales Support & Coordination
- Assist in processing sales transactions and internal company operations related to sales.
- Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate smooth sales processes.
Sales Reporting & Analysis
- Provide regular sales performance reports for the sales team and department heads.
- Assist in analysing sales trends and performance data.
Departmental Support & Coordination
- Collect, compile, and analyse market trends, pricing, competitor products, and industry developments.
- Identify potential new products, alternative suppliers, and customer trends.
- Prepare analytical reports to support business decisions and marketing strategies.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Biotechnology, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales support, marketing, or administrative roles preferred.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
