Job Responsibilities:

• Lead scientific research projects related to microalgae-based protein production.
• Develop project plans, set milestones and track progress, coordinating resources.
• Design and execute experiment to optimize growth conditions, strain development and culturing systems for high-yield microalgae protein production.
• Analyze data from experiment to make data-driven decisions on refining and improving processes.
• Lead efforts in scaling laboratory processes to full-scale production environments, ensuring the reproducibility results.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and troubleshoot challenges associated with large-scale microalgae cultivation and protein extraction.
• Contribute to the development of cost-effective and sustainable production strategies.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Master’s Degree in Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent.
• Experience in scientific research and development, with focus on microalgae biotechnology, protein production and managing operations.
• Experience in scaling laboratory processes in industrial-scale systems.
• Strong understanding of bioprocessing, fermentation and large-scale production techniques.
• Strong project management skills, including experience with budgets, timelines and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques, data analysis tools and scientific software.
