ROLES & RESPONBILITIES:
a) Technical Service Responsibilities
1. Installation & Commissioning
· Install biomedical equipment at hospitals/clinics and ensure correct operation.
2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
· Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
3. Calibration & Testing
· Conduct accuracy tests and calibrations in compliance with manufacturer standards and healthcare regulations.
4. Technical Support
· Provide onsite or remote support to clients for equipment usage, minor repairs, and emergency calls.
b) Sales Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management
· Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital staff, biomedical engineers, and procurement officers.
2. Product Demonstration & Presentation
· Demonstrate product features and benefits to prospective clients and conduct technical presentations.
3. Sales Target Achievement
· Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets set by the company.
4. Quotations & Tenders
· Prepare quotations, proposals, and assist in tender submissions.
c) Documentation & Reporting
1. Service Reports & Logs
· Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and client feedback.
2. Inventory Management
· Manage stock of spare parts, tools, and demo units.
3. Feedback to R&D / Management
· Report recurring problems, customer needs, or product suggestions to improve offerings.
d) Training & Development
1. User Training
· Train hospital staff on the correct and safe use of biomedical devices.
2. Self-Development
· Stay updated on new biomedical technologies, product updates, and regulations.
SKILL & KNOWLEDGE:
a) Technical Skills:
· Knowledge of medical devices and systems (e.g., ventilators, suction machines, flowmeters, patient monitors, incubators).
· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and calibration reports.
· Hands-on experience in installation, repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
· Familiarity with ISO 13485, MOH regulations, and hospital safety standards (is an added advantage).
· Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and reporting tools.
b) Soft Skills:
· Good communication and presentation skills (for dealing with hospital staff and clients).
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Able to work independently and as part of a team.
· Good time management and ability to multitask.
· Professional, responsible, and customer oriented.
REQUIREMENTS:
a) Education:
· Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
b) Experience:
· Fresh Graduate and 1–2 years of experience in sales, technical support, or equipment servicing (preferably in the biomedical/healthcare sector).
· Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and communication skills are also encouraged to apply.
c) Driving license:
· Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel to hospitals/clinics.
d) Language:
· Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written & spoken).
