Job Summary:

The Research and Development Executive is responsible for conceiving, designing, and developing new products from concept to commecialisation. This role involves researching market trends, sourcing raw materials, creating prototypes, and scaling up laboratory successes to pilot plant or mass production levels. They work closely with the Marketing team and the Operation team to ensure the product meets consumer needs and manufactured efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concept Development: Brainstorm and research new product ideas based on market gaps, consumer feedback, or technological advancements.
• Formulation/Design: Create prototypes and formulas in a lab or design environment (e.g., determining ingredients, writing code, designing hardware).
• Raw Material Sourcing: Identify and test new suppliers and raw materials for cost, functionality, and quality.
• Bench-top to Plant Scale-up: Lead the transition of a product from the lab (small batch) to the factory (mass production), adjusting parameters as needed.
• Documentation: Create initial product specifications, ingredient lists, and process flow charts.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure new products meet safety and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EU regulations) before launch.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Science, Food Technology, or any related field.
