Job Description:

We are looking for highly driven individual to be part of our team as Quality Control Associate. Candidate is expected to have laboratory and human cell culture skills and experience and are keen to pursue a career in the cell therapy manufacturing field. Candidate is expected to carry out QC-related activities. QC team will be working closely with Production team to support manufacturing needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• To adhere to GMP and Quality Management System (QMS);
• To improve Quality Management System through continuous improvement and streamlining of Quality Control processes;
• To attend training, including but not limited to cell culture training for relevant production and all necessary GMP related training in order to achieve the desired competency level;
• To undergo medical examination and records are submitted to Quality Department;
• To assist in ensuring equipment in the Quality Control Laboratory are maintained and calibrated;
• To assist in ensuring equipment in the Quality Control Laboratory are validated;
• To adhere to procedures implemented in Quality Department;
• To assist and perform proper documentation recording;
• To conduct sampling and testing of raw materials and all other materials that are used in production;
• To conduct sampling and testing for in-process QC (IPQC) and final product release QC (FPQC) to ensure products are manufactured to specification;
• To maintain and keep track of inventory used in manufacturing;
• To inform Quality Control Lead / Quality Control Manager when inventory is low and is responsible for re-ordering of consumables;
• To raise PR and submit to Store personnel-in-charge;
• To record product complaints;
• To assist investigating product complaints when necessary;
• To participate in self-inspection;
• To adhere to procedures to ensure the sterility of materials being produced; and;
• Assist in all other tasks assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences / Biological Science / Biotechnology or related field and above;
• Possess laboratory experience is a must (minimum 3 – 6 months);
• Experienced in QC-released testing for cell-based products;
• Experience in GMP manufacturing.
