Role Overview

As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in identifying new customers, building relationships with animal feed manufacturers and poultry farmers, and securing pilot projects and commercial deals. You’ll be working closely with the founding team to shape go-to-market strategies and help grow revenue from our protein product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify leads among animal feed blenders, poultry integrators, and distributors.
  • Conduct market outreach, pitch Synbiozymes’ protein product, and convert interest into pilots or sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders.
  • Work with technical team to coordinate product sampling, trials, and gather feedback.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to refine positioning and pricing strategy.
  • Represent Synbiozymes at trade shows, farm visits, or B2B meetings
  • Assist in developing sales materials, proposals, and customer success plans.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Master or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Animal Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles (agri-related sector preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel and meet customers on-site (farms, feed mills, etc.)
  • Self-driven, highly adaptable, and thrives in a startup environment.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Goal-oriented and thrives on taking initiative to close sales and build customer relationships.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with animal feed, poultry farming, or agri-input distribution networks.
