Job Descriptions:

• Implementation and continued improvement of food safety standards in places such as GMP, HACCP, and ISO/ FSSC 22000
• Responsible for the company’s internal audit, regulatory audit, customer audit, and company system and assurance audit.
• Evaluate, analyse, and troubleshoot the quality-related issue and coordinate the hold and release process for effective non-compliance management.
• Ensure incoming, WIP and outgoing products conform to the quality system, control plan, or customer specified requirements.
• Establish and maintain quality control and assurance for the manufacturing process including incoming raw materials testing, in-process testing till final inspection.
• Ensure all inspection, measuring and testing equipment are correctly controlled, calibrated and maintained.
• Handle customer’s feedback and investigation.
• Responsible for communicating with suppliers for any non-conformance issue or improvement actions and closely follow-up on corrective/preventive actions closure.
• Coordinate pest management program.
• Coordinate with the external laboratory for product analysis.
• Assist in system verification and validation activities.
• Assist in applying food product registration and classification and any other authority/regulatory application management.
• Provide in-house training to production and operational staff on proper food safety/quality and personal hygiene practice and any other related training as required.
• Maintain good hygiene and practices in the laboratory.
• Perform any additional job assigned by superiors or management as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent.
• Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and/or Mandarin.
• Strong technical and analytical thinking with problem-solving skills
• Candidates must have mental toughness, be a team player, and be a self-starter.
• Analytical, well organized, able to work with minimum supervising and well equipment with multi-tasking ability.
