Job Descriptions:

Initiate research and development activities to create new products based on market demand analysis.

• Conduct R&D tasks including formulation, sample creation, and sensory testing.
• Innovate new products while enhancing existing ones.
• Refine and update product formulations and processes as necessary to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
• Create documentation such as formulas, labels, and evaluation reports.
• Perform trial runs and assess risks for commercial production.
• Perform product label content writing and checking.
• Manage and maintain documents, including formulas, labels, and test data.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, QAQC, production, and procurement teams.
• Resolve technical issues from an R&D perspective.
• Develop, maintain, and update related Standard Procedures and Work Instructions, including analysis methods, specifications (formula, ingredient list, nutritional fact), and ensure all projects and sample status are documented timely and in line with standard procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food regulations regarding product label and ingredients, and address technical inquiries from customers.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the R&D room, equipment, raw materials, and samples.
• Perform any other duties assigned by superiors as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Nutrition
• 1-2 years R&D experience in any food manufacturing company
• Fluent in English, Malay, Mandarin (an added advantage)
• Possess own transport
