Job Descriptions:
- Perform laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data supporting
scientific investigations related to newborn screening. - Plan and carry out routine tasks accurately, following strict methodologies to
ensure consistency in analyses. - Collect, prepare, and process newborn screening samples according to the
Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Maintain and operate standard laboratory equipment, ensuring they are in good
working condition. - Ensure proper waste disposal and adherence to biosafety protocols.
- Record, analyze, and interpret results, presenting findings to senior colleagues
and relevant stakeholders. - Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked, resourced, and all materials are clearly
labeled. - Keep up to date with technical developments, especially those that can enhance
efficiency and data reliability. - Conduct literature reviews and research studies on newborn screening,
contributing to research papers and reports based on findings. - Follow and enforce strict safety procedures and quality control measures.
- Develop and maintain laboratory SOPs in accordance with the Company’s
policies and regulatory requirements. - Perform any other tasks assigned by the Company as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Lab Skills: Experience in conducting tests, handling samples, and operating lab equipment.
- Analytical & Research: Ability to collect, analyze data, and contribute to research studies.
- Compliance & Safety: Knowledge of SOPs, biosafety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Organization & Teamwork: Strong attention to detail, inventory management, and collaboration.
- Communication & Adaptability: Ability to present findings and take on additional tasks as needed.
