Job Descriptions:

• Lead scientific research projects related to microalgae-based protein production. Develop project plans, set milestones, and track progress, coordinating resources.
• Design and execute experiment to optimize growth conditions, strain development, and culturing systems for high-yield microalgae protein production.
• Analyze data from experiment to make data-driven decisions on refining and improving processes.
• Lead efforts in scaling laboratory processes to full-scale production environments, ensuring the reproducibility of results.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and troubleshoot challenges associated with large-scale microalgae cultivation and protein extraction.
• Contribute to the development of cost-effective and sustainable production strategies.

Job Requirements:

Qualification and experience:

• D. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree with significant industry experience will also be considered.
• Experience in scientific research and development, with a focus on microalgae biotechnology, protein production, and managing operations, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Experience in scaling laboratory processes to industrial-scale systems.

Skills & Competencies:

• Expertise in microalgae cultivation, strain development, and protein extraction technologies.
• Strong understanding of bioprocessing, fermentation, and large-scale production techniques.
• Strong project management skills, including experience with budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques, data analysis tools, and scientific software.
