Salary: RM2,700 – RM4,000 (work up to 40 hours per week)

About the role

Neurasia Sdn Bhd is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled IT Helpdesk Specialist to join our team. This position is open exclusively to Malaysians residing in Malaysia, with work conducted onsite; fractional work arrangements may also be considered.

Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical troubleshooting roles. In this role, you will provide technical support and assistance to end-users facing hardware, software, or network issues. As the first point of contact for IT support, you will play a critical role in maintaining seamless IT operations by resolving user issues and escalating more complex problems to the appropriate teams when needed.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Hardware Setup: Configure and maintain workstations, laptops, and peripherals.

·         Account Management: Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.

·         Network Support: Troubleshoot VPN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues.

·         Technical Support: Resolve hardware, software, and mobile device issues.

·         Collaboration: Work with IT teams and vendors on projects and escalations.

·         Incident Management: Track, prioritize, and resolve IT tickets efficiently.

·         System Maintenance: Perform updates, patches, and routine system checks.

·         Customer Service: Provide clear communication and IT training to users.

·         Documentation: Maintain records, guides, and feedback for improvements.

·         Compliance: Adhere to IT security policies and report vulnerabilities.
