Job Descriptions:
- Sales Strategy Development: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for growth, and formulating plans to capitalize on them.
- Team Leadership and Management: Leading and managing a sales team, including hiring, training, and motivating sales representatives. This involves setting clear performance objectives, providing coaching and support, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients/retailers. This includes site visits, negotiating contracts, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Site Visits for Sales Growth: As a sales manager, one of your responsibilities is to actively pursue opportunities to generate more sales orders. In some cases, this may require conducting site visits to prospective clients or existing customers. Site visits provide invaluable opportunities to establish rapport, assess client needs firsthand, and present our products or services in a personalized manner.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research to identify consumer preferences, competitor activities, and emerging trends. This information is used to inform sales strategies and product development efforts.
- Sales Forecasting and Budgeting: Forecasting sales volumes and revenues, and developing budgets based on these projections. Monitoring performance against targets and making adjustments as needed to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Product Promotion and Marketing: Design trade marketing and promotional packages monthly. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns/ events and marketing materials to support sales efforts. This may involve coordinating advertising, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis: Tracking sales performance metrics, such as sales volume, revenue, and profitability, and preparing regular reports for management. Analyzing sales data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Inventory Management: Working closely with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure adequate stock levels to meet demand. Monitoring inventory turnover rates and implementing strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Training and Development: Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for sales team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. This may include sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service training.
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing the sale and distribution of cosmetic products. This includes staying informed about changes in regulations and implementing appropriate measures to maintain compliance
