Functions:

As Assistant Plant Breeder, you will work closely and assist Breeder Department on improving the quality and performance of existing agricultural and horticultural crops and create new varieties of plants

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting on the development of new crops varieties
• Work closely to prepare and execute breeding, screening trials and analyze the resulting data
• Keeping detailed records regarding fields, crops and misc.
• Generating reports and presenting findings to management, inter‐dept or other interested
  parties.
• Promoting products and techniques through educational presentations.
• Other tasks assigned and required by the Company.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field
• Ability to work outside, stand, walk, kneel, and stoop for extended periods.
• Proficiency with computers, especially MS Office and diagnostic scientific software.
• Awareness of industry trends, technology, and developments.
• Candidates with 1 year working experience added advantage, fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
