[BeST 2.0] Business Development Executive

The main job function is to develop new potential market segments for PhytoGaia’s products, particularly the palm phytonutrients for dietary supplements, health foods, cosmetic/personal care, pet foods/supplements, animal feeds, etc. Meantime, to assist and support in marketing activities.

Job Descriptions:

  • Leverage Relationships: Utilize existing relationships to drive business growth for the company.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities: Explore and identify opportunities for growth in strategic market segments, including dietary supplements, health foods, cosmetics/personal care, pet foods/supplements, and animal feeds.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Consistently achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry trade shows and events as required.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel for business meetings, exhibitions, and trade shows as assigned.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Forecast customer needs and complete sales reports regularly.
  • Customer Outreach: Approach new customers through calls, emails, or video conferences on a regular basis.
  • Technical Support: Prepare and provide technical literature and support to customers.
  • Presentations and Seminars: Conduct presentations and technical seminars to showcase company products and services.
  • Exhibition Management: Set up booths, exhibit, and meet with both new potential and existing clients at exhibitions.
  • Market Research: Research and analyze market information and competitors.
  • Trade Exhibition Planning: Plan and manage trade exhibitions for the company and attend these events.
  • Customer Visits: Visit customers locally and overseas to conduct technical presentations as needed.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other science, research, and marketing-related responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Life Sciences, Agriculture, or any other related field.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to leverage existing networks and establish new connections.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel for business meetings, exhibitions, and trade shows as required.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for business development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to handle additional science, research, and marketing-related responsibilities as needed.
