Job Descriptions:

• Study the characteristics of insects, including interactions with other species and their environment, reproduction, population dynamics, diseases, and movement patterns.
• Research, initiate, and maintain breeding programmes for insects.
• Engage in pest control and beneficial insect utilisation research.
• Estimate, monitor, and manage insect populations.
• Work towards improving insect populations through several scientific methods.
• Identify useful areas of biological exploration or experimentation that could yield significant scientific or commercial benefits.
• Utilise company assets to facilitate experiments or observations.
• Assist in the hands-on tasks of rearing black soldier flies, including setting up nurseries, feeding the larvae, and managing the breeding processes to ensure successful harvest of BSF.
• Perform any tasks relevant to the biology and entomology, and company’s operation to achieve desired outcomes and support the company’s activities and businesses.

Job Requirements:

• Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Life Science, Entomology, or any related field.
• Preferably Sarawakian as the company is based in Kuching, Sarawak.
• Detail-oriented and methodical approach to research and experimentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges.
