Responsibilities

1. Setting up hardware and installing and configure software and drivers.
2. Maintaining and repairing technological equipment (e.g. routers) or peripheral devices.
3. Installing well-functioning LAN/ WAN and other networks and manage components (servers, IPs etc.)

7. Manage security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy and protection from attacks.
8. Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated.
9. Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality.
10. Arrange maintenance sessions to discover and mend inefficiencies.
11. Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference.
12. Offer timely technical support and teach users how to utilize computers correctly.
13. Others task to be assigned by his/ her superior or his/her designate.

Education, Qualification, Experience and Skill Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology and equivalent
2. Required Skill(s): Knowledge in installation & configuration of operating system, drivers, and software patches & other PC peripherals, able to troubleshooting e-mail, software application and server errors, to support on notebook/ desktop/ printer issue, Knowledge on network infrastructure
3. Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
4. Excellent troubleshooting skills and communication abilities
