Job Summary:

The Sales Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring efficient operation within the sales department. This role involves administrative tasks, coordinating sales activities, managing customer
accounts, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a seamless sales process for a food company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Support:
Assist the sales team with daily administrative tasks and activities. Prepare and process sales orders, invoices, and delivery schedules. Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.
2. Customer Service:
Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing solutions in a timely and efficient manner. Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery times, and product information. Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
3. Coordination and Communication:
Coordinate with various departments (e.g., production, logistics, and marketing) to ensure smooth sales operations. Schedule and organize sales meetings, presentations, and training sessions. Provide regular updates and reports to the sales manager and team.
4. Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and sales opportunities. Analyse sales data to identify trends, monitor performance, and suggest improvements. Assist in the development of sales strategies and promotional activities.
5. Order Management:
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production department to ensure product availability. Process and follow up on customer orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfilment.
6. Sales Reporting:
Prepare sales reports and performance metrics for management review. Track sales targets and progress, providing regular updates to the sales team. Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets.

Qualifications:

1. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Experience:
2-3 years of experience in sales coordination or a similar role, preferably in the food industry.
3. Skills:
– Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
