Job Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
3. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment life and improve efficiency.
4. Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
5. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with production staff to understand equipment issues and coordinate maintenance activities.
7. Upgrades and Modifications: Assist in the installation and testing of new equipment and make modifications to existing equipment as needed.
8. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure necessary parts are available for repairs and maintenance.
9. Training: Provide training to production staff on proper equipment use and basic troubleshooting. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving equipment performance and reliability and implement necessary changes.

Requirements:

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
2. Experience: Proven experience as an equipment technician, maintenance technician, or in a similar role. Familiarity with various types of industrial equipment and machinery.
3. Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools. Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and other control systems.
4. Software Proficiency: Experience with maintenance management software and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
5. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks. Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
6. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician, Electrical Safety Certification) are a plus.
7. Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Safety Awareness: Thorough understanding of safety protocols and procedures. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
9. Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, if necessary. Availability for on-call duty in case of emergencies. Hardworking and Responsible: Diligent individuals with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills.
