JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Assist in trial planting plan, coordination and operation such as data collection.
- Assist in seed treatments, sowing, monitoring & harvesting.
- Hand Pollination & Open Pollination.
- Assist with plant selection and development of planting and irrigation schedule.
- Visiting fields to collect samples.
- Packing seed & fresh produce.
- Evaluation of the grow out test result.
- Fertilizer & Chemical Program
- Quality Control & Postharvest
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Agriculture or equivalent.
- Ability to work outside in (hot sunny day), stand, walk, kneel, and stoop for extended periods.
- Strong research, decision making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia.
