Job Descriptions:
- To act as a custodian and support relevant of biological sample handling, tracking and
maintaining the integrity of the sample and system which includes sample retrieval and
restore, sample accountability with related documentation and sample monitoring with
appropriate storage conditions. - To act as a custodian to Reference and Working Standards and maintain the integrity of
refrigerator in/out. - To act as Coordinator between clinical and Bioanalytical facility.
- To maintain tracking charts and sample accountabilities, update them on periodic basis
as per the Study/Method Development/Method validation initiation or termination and
disposal of the same upon valid reason to do so. - To maintain and update the freezer temperature data and acknowledge the relevant
changes in temperatures fluctuations if necessary. - To report senior analysts/HOD for any abnormality observed in deep freezer room during
the routine. - Responsible for monitoring the calibration process and temperature data from online
monitoring system for deep freezers. - To calibrate analytical balance, PH meter, micropipettes, Miltipettes and other basic
instrument or equipment in laboratory based on trainings from Senior Analytical Chemist
or Technical Manager. - To keep a track and maintain the inventory for lab activities and to coordinate with team
for appropriate procurement time and deadlines. - To record temperature and humidity in all areas of the laboratory and maintain the
records for the same. - To comply with all relevant standard operating procedures of Bioanalytical Research
Department with proper documentation reflecting in individual Training Records. - To maintain laboratory equipment/instrument at their specified location and manage
their identity and status as per the set procedures. - To handle and utilize solvents in laboratory as per the establish procedures and maintain
the stock record on the same. - To handle minor equipment/instrument based on training provided and generate
designated output from the same. - To verify the calibration and preventive maintenance procedures along with the engineer
involved in the operation. - To coordinate externally for the schedule calibration process and to procure the
certificate of calibration on time. - To troubleshoot and rectify minor malfunctions of equipment/instrument by having
appropriate knowledge on respective user manuals. - To issue and record raw data forms and preparation of solutions for routine analysis.
- To ensure equipment/instruments are calibrated before use and keep a track on schedule
calibration process. - Ensure compliance to applicable to principles of ISO 17025 & OECD GLP.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, majoring in Chemistry, or any related field.
- Possesses a strong interest in bio-analysis and working in a lab-setting.
