JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in compiling and analysis of breeding data
2. Ensure the integrity of the data.
3. Assisting in trial planning and trial planting
4. Collecting samples from field trial
5. Assisting in selecting plants for breeding
6. Assisting in selecting plants for seed production
7. Assisting in planning and designing experiment for molecular genetics

Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or Genetics or Biotechnology or equivalent.
2. Possess knowledge in genetics, genomics, plant breeding, marker-assisted selection and genome-wide selection.
3. Ability to work in the field for extended periods.
4. Strong research, decision making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
5. Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia.
