Manufacturing / Process Engineer is responsible for the continued development and implementation of improvement plans for production.

1. Responsibilities and Duties.
a. Provide the various aspects of the process engineering, design, planning and development.
b. Provide processing plans, methods, design, manpower requirements, cost analysis and other areas as appropriate.
c. Responsible for the development and maintenance of long and short term processing plans and designs, including process line configurations.
d. Prepare project proposals, studies and technical reports.
e. Provide guidance, support and act as direct resource to the team.
f. Ensure application of sound basic knowledge of safety, environmental and energy related issues.
g. Collect, process, analyze data and provide reports with appropriate conclusions and recommendations for improvements for raw materials, intermediate materials and finished products from compounding and extrusion lines.

2. Study and analyze data collected in relation to improvements for.
a. Optimum output.
b. Product quality consistency.
c. Process stability.

3. Prepare schedules and lead new project implementation.
a. Equipment or material sourcing and contact with suppliers.
b. Lead time discussion.
c. Testing and commissioning.

4. Design experiment and establish machine parameters according to types of material and finished product specifications.
a. Sheet extrusion.
b. Compounding.

5. Update product formulation (Highly confidential).
a. Sheet extrusion.
b. Compounding.

6. Attend to technical issues in production and at customer premises when required.

7. Understand downstream operations.
a. Thermoforming
b. Injection molding

8. Oversee machine setup for
a. Sheet extrusion
b. Compounding

9. Implementation and maintenance of ISO9001 and ISO14001 activities.
a. Assist and support EMR / QMR in auditing.
b. Assist and support EMR / QMR in process improvement plans and executions.
c. Assist and support production team in implementing and executing ISO related matters.

10.Reports preparation.
a. Monthly Material Trial Report,
b. Process Improvement Report,
c. Process Abnormality Report.

11.Any other job assignment as required by immediate superior / management from time to time.
