ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Role: To carry-out and execute all R&D and other multi-tasking related duties and tasks. Responsibilities: Responsible to the above mentioned duties in line with company policies, rules and regulations.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1) GENERAL DUTIES
a) R&D and related issues.
b) Work effectively with Projects, Quality and Production department.
c) Participates in making technical recommendations to advance company products and manufacturing methods.
d) Actively participates in research activities in the factory R&D laboratories and applying research outputs for pilot scale study and trial runs.
e) Recording, analyzing data, and presenting data to HRRD and colleagues.
f) Preparing, writing and reading reports, research papers, technical papers, reviews and specifications.
g) Researching feasibility by considering profitability, resource availability and compliance with regulations.
h) Liaising with engineering, production, research, and technical staff.
i) Purchasing supplies and monitor inventory related to R&D laboratories.
j) Performing audits.

2) R&D DUTIES
a) To submit weekly R&D Department Reports on Work-Plans, Achievements and Updates, R&D Manhours and Cost by Monday of the following week.
b) To submit consolidated monthly reports per 2(a), by 5th of the following month.
c) Responsible for generating ideas, researching, and developing processes related to the creation of various biopolymer and natural products.
d) Maintains up to date knowledge/awareness of science & technology developments in the Polymer Science and relevant areas through literature search.
e) Perform any of the tasks required in the research and development process such characterization, testing, and calibration.
