Job Descriptions:
- Research and study microorganisms: Conduct experiments and research to study the characteristics, growth, and behaviour of microorganisms; Isolate and identify various types of microorganisms using laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Microbial testing: Perform microbiological testing of samples from various sources, such as clinical speciments, food products, water, and air; Analyse test results to detect and identify pathogents, contamination and abnormalities.
- Culture and maintain microorganisms: Cultivate and maintain various strains of microorganisms for research purposes; Ensure the proper storage and preservation of microbial cultures.
- Data collection and analysis: Record and analyse experimental data and research findings; Interpret results and draw conclusions based on research outcomes.
- Environmental microbiology: Study the impact of microorganisms on the environment, including issues related to pollutions, waste management, and the degradation of organic matter.
- Reporting and communication: Prepare research reports, scientific papers, and presentations; Collaborate with other scientists and professionals, sharing findings and insights.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Science, or any related field.
