Job descriptions:

• Assist in the construction and maintenance of greenhouse structures, ensuring a suitable environment for plant growth.
• Transport seedlings and other materials between farm locations, ensuring their safe and timely arrival.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on farms, including but not limited to, water pumps, irrigation pipes, and other agricultural infrastructure.
• Utilise basic mechanical skills to repair and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Drive vehicles as needed for the transport of materials and equipment, adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanics, agriculture, or related fields is preferred.
• Proven experience in construction, farming, or a similar labour-intensive role.
• Basic mechanical skills/metal works and the ability to perform maintenance on a variety of equipment.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Interest in agriculture and willingness to learn about greenhouse operations and maintenance.
