Maintenance is to manufacturing equipment what doctors are to humans – skilled problem solvers who can fix problems that arise while also preventing the problems from arising in future. You will help to address maintenance challenges related to facilities, utilities and machines. In a fast-paced, lean, technology-focused startup environment, you will work closely with engineering teams internally and with vendors and contractors externally. Responsibilities:

• Assisting in preparing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules, planning and executing scheduled maintenance activities on key machines and equipment in a fast-paced agri-tech production environment.
• Assist to respond to breakdowns across the site in a timely manner, ensuring minimum disruption to productivity. Diagnosing faults and making recommendations for plant improvement regarding safety and productivity.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and spoken English, you’re a confident and concise communicator.
• Able to think on your feet, inquisitive, curious, analytical and strong focus on evidence- and data-driven reasoning.
• Strong attention to detail, high work standards and proactive can-do attitude
• High interest in installing and maintaining industrial equipment, particularly mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic subsystems.
• Open to Malaysian students and fresh graduates. Own transportation is required.
• Students from Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Machining and similar fields are preferred (but not required).
