Responsibilities

• Assist manager in supervising, managing and executing production operations.
• To ensure all products, in process materials, production facilities and process are in accordance with codes of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements through proper monitoring procedures, effective training program and up to date documentations.
• Perform troubleshooting and investigation on production lapses, incidents and problems on the production line to ensure continuity of operation.
• Arrangement of manpower, ensure discipline and control of manpower to ensure smooth operation and production process of pharmaceutical products.
• Responsible for all aspects of product, development activities which include upgrading of product quality, formulation, process validation and troubleshooting.
• Plan and initiate Quality improvement and ensure that all standard yield is maintained by production lines.
• Review and make recommendation for improvement in area of manufacturing processes, safety, environment, sanitation and hygiene.
• Coordinate and provide effective training programs for subordinates/production staffs.
• Monitor performance of products, operations and equipment against standard, promptly attend to changes and deviations.
• Assist and ensure all validations are conducted timely and accordingly.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.

Requirements

• A professional Degree in Pharmacy with 2 – 3 years of experience in manufacturing/pharmaceutical industry.
• A registered Pharmacist with Pharmacy Board of Malaysia. Preferably with working experience in relevant fields.
• Experience in a cGMP Pharmaceutical Production environment is a plus.
• Required skill(s): Communication skills (both verbal & written), Problem-solving skill with positive attitude
• Able to work with people from different levels with sound leadership capabilities.
• Strong ability to multi-task, able to deliver results with accuracy and efficiency.
