Responsibilities

• Oversee the Microbiology Laboratory daily operation.
• Verify the microbial test results before recommending for finished product and incoming material releasing/rejection.
• Responsible for Environmental Monitoring.
• Responsible for standardization for Internal Reference Standard Micro assay.
• Purchase of Certifies Reference Standard and consumable for Microbiology Laboratory.
• Initiate investigation for Out-of-Specification results.
• To arrange for external proficiency test for microbiological testing.
• Assist Quality Control Manager on implementation, maintenance and improvement of the lab management system in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
• Perform quality risk assessments where necessary and participate in relevant interdepartmental quality risk assessments.
• Any other tasks assigned by Superior from time to time.
