Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible in the development of new product including research, material sourcing, formulation to prototype preparation, laboratory testing and stability study etc.
• Evaluates and reviews adaptation of existing products for new applications or other product development.
• Research product formulations and properties of raw materials in accordance with pharmacopoeia standards (BA & BE).
• Develop new product formulations or improve current product formulations when needed. Managing product development timeline, cost and quality.
• Ensure formulas are stable and comply to NPRA requirements.
• To perform product development work collaboration with relevant departments (RA, Production, QA/QC, Sales & Marketing).
• Responsible in handling technical knowledge of new product and any special requirements during process validation to ensure successful manufacturing of all upcoming batches.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation system
• Perform others job related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree of Pharmaceutical Science, Medicinal Chemistry or equivalent.
• Candidate with minimum experience of 2 years in formulation and development in pharmaceutical/FMCG industry will be considered a plus. However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding in Good Documentation Practice as well as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Knowledge in Good Lad Practices (GLP) will be an added advantage.
• Required skills(s): Computer literature, Communication skills (both verbal & written), Interpersonal
• Basic understanding of R&D lab machineries and instruments.
• Able to work under face pace working environment
