JOB DESCRIPTION

Scientific Executive – Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) is responsible for the daily operations involved with running a greenhouse and mainly participate and involvement in the research project of fruits and vegetables. Likewise, He/She must be knowledgeable about the
stages of plant life and diseases that may occur.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee inventory of seeds and plants
2. Harvest plants or fruits
3. Provide training for workers
4. Supervise workers to complete the daily operation
5. Responsible for the farm operation management and prepare work log, update and report to supervisor on daily basic
6. Prepare farm operation manuals, which include daily operation manual, pest control manual, harvesting and post harvesting manual, maintenance service manual and etc.
7. Prepare work plan and duty routine for the workers
8. Be knowledgeable about the stages and diseases of plant life
9. Work closely with R&D team for research projects

Requirements

Experience: Fresh graduate (preferable with the exposure in fruit or vegetable cultivation under (CEA)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or any associate’s degree in Sciences (Biology, Botany)
