Position Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for marketing and selling in the B2B Channel in local and international markets.
- Execute sales strategy and implementation of a marketing plan for the market that ensures the attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Prepare action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects to penetrate new markets.
- Able to present information and reports to senior management effectively.
- Coordination of marketing programmes, speaking opportunities, content creation (articles, posts, infographics) for brand awareness.
- Development and maintenance of marketing tools and collaterals.
- Departmental duties include budget and sales monitoring and reporting, stock monitoring.
- In charge of ingredients/brand digital presence – campaign management, social media, articles and content creation for marketing (program deployment, tracking and post-analysis).
- Market and data analysis for market entry – to launch/promote new ingredients and products.
- Maintenance and monitoring of Intellectual Property (including trademarks) and contracts.
- Canvassing regulatory and business environment for targeted markets (liaise with local agencies and government authorities, overseas regulators and agents).
- Regular market monitoring to understand local trade conditions and constantly look for opportunities and solutions to challenges.
- Work closely with other departments in achieving the company’s goals.
- Support Department Lead for international events and tradeshows participation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree qualification in Marketing or a related field;
- Minimum 3 years of branding/marketing/sales experience in the B2B food/pharma ingredient industry;
- Excellent communicator of Science and Business to wide range of audience (both English and Malay) and able to respond to inquiries or complaints, from customers, regulatory bodies, or members of business communities.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements;
- Willingness to travel and collaborate with a global team of professionals;
- Proficient in spoken and written English;
- Excellent relationship-building and management skills.
- A team player, with a flexible, open personality with strong organisational & communication skills;
- Appreciable presentations skills – Sales Pitching, Board Updates, Marketing Communication and commercial reporting.
- Adaptable to different business cultures (due to different country touch points).
- Open to learning and mentoring from department lead.
- A proactive collaborator and good mediator.
