Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agronomy, plant science, plant biotechnology, or related field.
• Familiar with contemporary farming practices and technology (hydroponics, fertigation, etc.). Able to troubleshoot common problems and issues related to farming practices.
• Have some basic level of scientific knowledge of experimental designs, literature sourcing, data management, spreadsheets, word processing, and basic statistics to ensure that the data analysis and interpretation are completed correctly.
• Familiar with material science, processing, and handling of liquid extracts. Basic knowledge of process design is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to transfer scientific knowledge to laymen.
• Enthusiastic and keen to learn. Must be able to work without supervision.
• Possessing own transport with driving license.

Job Description:

• Conduct crop measurements and data collection in customer farms and nurseries. May need to carry out an analysis for soil and plant samples.
• Keeping detailed records regarding fields, customers, crops, and samples.
• Data recording and analysis.
• Assisting in sample collection, testing, and quality control of seaweed processing for the production of liquid biostimulants.
• Assisting the sales and marketing team with up-to-date data and information on biostimulant performance. Prepare a summary of data for marketing material.
• Assisting in preparing project reports for customers or investors.
• Assist in procuring laboratory, greenhouse, and field materials and supplies.
