Function: As an Assistant Plant Breeder, you will work closely and assist Breeder Department on improving the quality and performance of existing agricultural and horticultural crops and create new varieties of plants.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture or any related fields.
• Able to work outside, stand, walk, kneel, and stoop for extended periods.
• Proficiency with computers, especially MS Offices and diagnostic scientific software.
• Awareness of industry trends, technology, and developments.
• Candidates with 1-year working experience are added advantages; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Descriptions:

• Assist in the development of new crops varieties.
• Work closely to prepare and execute breeding, screening trials and analyse the resulting data.
• Keep detailed records regarding fields, crops and misc.
• Generate reports and presenting findings to management, inter-departments or other interested parties.
• Promote products and techniques through educational presentations.
• Other tasks assigned and required by the Company.
