Job Descriptions:

• Perform agricultural maintenance tasks, including transplanting and producing organic fertilisers to support farm efficiency.
• Collaborate with farmers and the community, training them on new technologies and SOPs to promote sustainable practices.
• Lead farmer meetings to share information, gather feedback, and engage the farming community.
• Procure materials for research and development, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Support the Agriculture Engineer in crop research, seed testing, and findings documentation within the AGRI-SPARK project.
• Assist in developing and implementing efficient and sustainable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for agricultural processes.
• Assist in monitoring standard farm practices and crop health, manage nursery operations including seedling growth.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in agriculture or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a farm setting or a similar role preferred.
• Demonstrate interest or passion for agriculture and sustainable farming practices.
• Adaptability to changing work conditions and tasks.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and organise meetings.
• Physical ability to handle labour-intensive tasks.
• Ability to analyse and solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Able to do and finish tasks independently.
