About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our dynamic team. The Production Technician will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and timely production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting regular maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Monitoring production processes to maintain product quality and adherence to specifications.
• Providing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for machinery operation, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and efficient equipment utilisation.
• Performing preventive maintenance activities to pre-emptively address potential issues and minimise downtime.
• Collaborating with suppliers to promptly address any machinery faults or malfunctions, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Assisting in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems with machinery, implementing effective solutions.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of production activities, including equipment logs and quality control reports.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with machinery and equipment, preferably in a factory or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Ability to follow SOPs and technical manuals accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
• Certification or diploma in relevant technical field is preferred but not mandatory.
