Job Description
1) Secure approved investment projects, foreign and domestic companies by :
 Understanding company’s business intentions / expansion plans / strategy, identify specific
opportunity for Malaysia and propose / suggest appropriate business model based on identified
opportunity, furthermore suggest suitable partnership (strategic or business)
 Facilitate various applications to start business
 Introduce sources of funding options and facilitate discussions
 Support the program management and tracking of action plans to be implemented by other
specific agencies to support the overall goals and mission.

2) Track Investment realized of projects, foreign and domestic companies by :
 Continuous engagement with the project owners / companies to ensure project implementation,
active nurturing of both BioNexus and non-BioNexus companies
 Tracking the progress of approved investment from previous years to ensure all gaps are
addressed

3) To support Vice President (VP) in various special tasks that leads to building / enhancing the
industrial biotech / bio-based ecosystem :
 Tracking and updating pipeline as well as existing projects
 Provide input to internal and external stakeholders as and when required
 Analyze and evaluate industry and market trends of respective Industrial biotech / bio-based
sub sectors
 Involvement in special projects both intra divisional and inter divisional projects
 To work on and keep track of programme / projects of the division against the set KPIs as well
as engagement with other divisions / agencies in achieving Corporate KPIs

Job Requirement

* Bachelor’s degree in life science, chemical/industrial engineering or related discipline
* 3-5 years relevant working experience
* Good command of Bahasa Malaysia & English, both verbal & written
* Sound research, analytical and project Management skills
* Outstanding organization and problem solving skills
* High enthusiasm and creativity
* Technical, Business & Organizational skills
