The Farm Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of the indoor vertical farms from seeding, transplanting, growing to harvesting and packaging for delivery a Clean, Green and Safe produce to customers. Data collection, monitoring and showing TLC (tender loving care) to the plants as well as upkeeping and cleaning the vertical farm are among the activities.

The Farm Manager will also provide expert farming input to support farming risk identification and mitigation, farming strategy, safety and environmental aspects. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

• Seed, Plant, Transplant, Nursery, Harvest and Pack our farming produce by ensuring the delivery of high standard products to our customers with zero food waste
• Protect the health of our plants by applying basic plant protection measures
• Follow farming workflow and schedule to ensure continuous produce and harvest cycle
• Perform maintenance and cleaning of the farms to ensure strict hygiene of the farming environment
• Report on harvest records and plant issues using our internal farming applications
• Interact with customers, providing top-notch customer service
• Maintain continuous supply of all materials and supplies to keep the farm operating
• Ensure the safety of yourself and others by following Health and Safety legislation and guidelines

Requirements:-

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, Horticulture, Sustainable Agriculture, Master Gardening, Vegetable Gardening, Community Development or other related fields
• Demonstrated experience in project management
• Ability to work in cross-cultural environment
• Adaptive leadership skills
• Self-starter with excellent ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
• Highly organized with excellent attention to details
• Ability to file and organize electronics and paper documents
• Ability to intersect gardening
• Good communication skills in English and local languages
• Possess valid driving license
